The Markham District Veterans Association is presenting monthly “Lunch and Learn” sessions.
These will be informative sessions held the 3rd Monday of each month starting at 11:00 am,
Open to members, their friends, family and the community.
Guest speakers will talk on a wide range of topics.
The meeting will be held in the upstairs cafe and a light lunch will be provided for a small fee.

Monday, September 15th – Amy Spraggon from Fresh Head Farms, an aquaponic sustainable farm located on Reesor Rd bringing farm food accessible to the Markham community.
Monday, October 20th – Jake Mittin from Home Instead
Monday, November 17th – “Living Harmoniously with Wildlife”
Join Markham Animal Services for an informative session exploring our local ecosystems and the diverse wildlife that call them home. Learn practical tips on how to safely and responsibly coexist with wildlife in our community, and bring your questions for an engaging discussion on all things wild!”

Payments
The session fee of $15 can be made in advance by one of the following;
(1) an e-transfer through your bank to treasurer@mdva.ca
(2) Payment at the Club at the Bar
(3) Cash at the door prior to the Lunch & Learn session.
