The Markham District Veterans Association is presenting monthly “Lunch and Learn” sessions.
- These will be informative sessions held the 3rd Monday of each month starting at 11:00 am,
- Open to members, their friends, family and the community.
- Guest speakers will talk on a wide range of topics.
- The meeting will be held in the upstairs cafe and a light lunch will be provided for a small fee.

Winter Schedule
Monday, January 19th
New Province-wide Recycling Program.
Starting January 1, 2026, Markham’s blue box recycling transitions to Ontario’s new provincial program. This new program will make recycling easier with more items accepted curbside like chip bags, toothpaste tubes, and black plastics and a whole lot more. Come find out more about this program and let’s keep as much out of the landfill as possible.

The session fee of $15 can be made in advance by one of the following;
(1) an e-transfer through your bank to treasurer@mdva.ca
(2) Payment at the Club at the Bar
(3) Cash at the door prior to the Lunch & Learn session.
